The James C. Grimm National Housing Training Institute (NHTI) is one of ACUHO-I’s most celebrated educational programs. NHTI was developed in 1991 and, for the last 25 years, has provided rising stars in the campus housing field with an opportunity for transformational personal and professional development.
This year, we are proud to mark the 25th anniversary of this unique institute, and celebrate the expansion of its reach. In 2016 two concurrent sessions of NHTI will be held; one at Michigan State University and another at the University of South Florida, offering more than 50 professionals with the opportunity to be a part of the NHTI Class of 2016.
The ACUHO-I Foundation is proud to announce the kickoff of a special new campaign to help celebrate this important anniversary. Funds raised from this campaign will help fund the association’s current and future educational programs, and help even more individuals experience opportunities like NHTI.
Southwest Contract and the Thompson Family have generously agreed to donate matching funds for any donations made to the NHTI campaign up to $50,000. Southwest Contract and the Thompson family have been major supporters of ACUHO-I and the ACUHO-I Foundation, and they understand the value of programs that educate and shape new generations of housing professionals. Thanks to this support, every dollar you donate will double its impact.
We encourage you to learn more about NHTI and the impact that it has had on many individuals in the profession, and make your donation to help fund this and other transformational educational opportunities for current and future generations of campus housing professionals.
